The Problem
Why are we trying this?
A lot of dating apps begin with the same uncomfortable task: trying to think of something clever to say to a complete stranger based on three photos and a vague bio.
Then you spend days messaging, attempting to keep a conversation going, without knowing whether you would actually enjoy sitting across from each other in real life.
We think meeting may be simpler.
Have coffee. Get lunch. Share dinner. Take a walk somewhere public. If it works out, wonderful. If it does not, that is okay too. At least you had a real conversation.

A flow, not a feed.
Tell us who you are
When invited, fill out a private application. Tell us what you are looking for, your boundaries, and when you are actually free to meet.
Reviewed by a real person
Someone on our team reads every profile. We do not use algorithms to automatically pair you up. We look for genuine compatibility.
Accept or pass
When we find a potential match, we send you an invitation. Passing is always free. A fee only applies if you both agree to sit down together.
Early pilot participants may receive credits that make their first confirmed date free. We do not collect payments through the current website.

We do not claim to scientifically predict love or guarantee compatibility. We just look for a good reason for two people to have coffee.

This experiment is intended for adults currently attending a college, university, community college, graduate school, or professional school.
When the full application opens, applicants may be asked to verify access to a current school email address.
School-email verification only helps confirm access to an educational email account.
Pricing
Free to join the interest list
There is no charge to join the interest list or complete the future application.
During the pilot, early participants may receive free date credits. Joining and passing on dates is always free. When both people accept a proposed date, a $10 coordination fee is charged to both parties. If someone does not show up, the person who did show up receives a refund. Pricing may change as the experiment develops.
Early pilot participants may receive credits that make their first confirmed date free.
Each participant would normally pay for their own food, drinks, transportation, and other personal expenses.
